Case Study - Under NDA

Smart Search is a GenAI-powered health communication tool delivering plain-language, credible information with customized summaries and curated questions, streamlining communication between users and healthcare providers.

Project Overview

During a 10-week summer collaboration with Deloitte Healthcare, I explored the integration of GenAI capabilities to inclusive health messaging. This project aimed to enhance health communication tools, making them more accessible and  impactful for diverse communities. 

My Role

My role encompassed leading the end-to-end process, from conceptualization to the final recommendations, ensuring that the solutions not only met client needs but also prioritized key use cases for effective implementation.

Key Contributions:
  • Project Management & Strategy: I led multidisciplinary teams, aligning resources and expertise to explore and prioritize GenAI capabilities for inclusive health messaging. I was responsible for managing the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.
     

  • Research & Insights: I conducted explorative, generative, and evaluative user research to inform our approach. Synthesizing findings from user studies, I provided high-fidelity design recommendations for 508-compliant, plain-language, and population-specific health communication tools, ensuring that our solutions were both effective and equitable.
     

  • Design & Development: Leveraging tools like Figma, I developed intuitive wireframes and high-fidelity UI/UX designs that emphasized usability and accessibility. I also contributed to shaping the product roadmap, delivering visual assets that aligned with the project’s vision and objectives.
     

  • Strategic Roadmapping: I crafted a comprehensive roadmap for implementing GenAI-driven health communication solutions. This included defining performance indicators and success metrics to assess the effectiveness of our inclusive messaging services, ensuring the project’s strategic alignment with client goals.
     

  • Client Engagement: I presented our work to key stakeholders, including [Name], [Role], and their direct reports. Through impactful presentations, I effectively communicated complex ideas, addressed client queries, and strengthened project alignment, ultimately building trust and confidence in our proposed solutions.
     

  • Innovation in Health Communication: I proposed measures to enhance the end-to-end user experience for health communication services. This involved developing inclusive messaging concepts tailored to the needs of diverse communities, ensuring our GenAI solutions resonated effectively with all user groups.

Outcome & Impact:

The project resulted in a set of actionable recommendations and a detailed product roadmap that not only met the client’s current needs but also set the stage for future enhancements in health communication services. By focusing on usability, accessibility, and inclusivity, we delivered a solution that elevated the client’s capabilities in providing equitable health messaging.
